February 2026Oranjestad, ArubaDelegation memberKotai joined the Sint Maarten delegation to the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultations (IPKO) in Aruba on 19–21 February 2026, with a Tripartite Consultation on 23 February. The finance agenda, comparing the Rft, LAft and a proposed new HOFA supervision framework, the Country Packages and liquidity-support loans, sat squarely in his domestic wheelhouse.

May 2026Ottawa, CanadaDelegation memberKotai was one of five Sint Maarten MPs in the delegation to the 22nd ParlAmericas Plenary Assembly in Ottawa, where the Parliament of Sint Maarten was formally invited to, and unanimously approved, joining ParlAmericas as an Associate Member, widening the island's parliamentary reach across the Americas.
Tripartite Consultation, The Hague
June 2026The Hague, NetherlandsDelegation memberParliament named Kotai in the delegation for the June consultations in The Hague. Its announcement set out a Tripartite Consultation between Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten ahead of the IPKO, to discuss issues affecting the three countries.

5–8 June 2026The Hague, NetherlandsGovernance & Finance working groupAt the June 2026 IPKO in The Hague, Kotai served in the Governance and Finance working group, the sub-theme that aligns with his public-finance and monetary-union work, whose results were presented to the plenary. All four Kingdom delegations backed a proposal to strengthen the IPKO itself.
His Kingdom work connects directly to his domestic priority, the future of the Curaçao–Sint Maarten monetary union.

How cooperation works
As a member of Parliament's Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Relations (CKAIR), Kotai represents Sint Maarten in Kingdom-level and regional consultations. His contributions are consistently focused on governance and finance, carrying his domestic work on the monetary union and public finance into the wider relationship between Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands. The delegations are led by Parliament President Sarah A. Wescot-Williams; the next IPKO is set for Sint Maarten in January 2027.
IPKO is the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation. CKAIR is Parliament’s Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Relations.
